The name “Kickstand” itself reflects the ethos: a symbol of balance, support, and grounding — whether you’re pedaling through life or just stopping for a breather.

From the beginning, Guillermo’s warmth and community spirit shaped Kickstand’s identity. He made sure the café felt welcoming, from the atmosphere to the personal connections with regulars.
Catherine joined Kickstand as manager in 2017, bringing a passion for flavor and design that quickly became part of the café’s identity. In 2021, she became co-owner alongside Guillermo, helping guide the café into its next chapter. With a knack for experimentation and creativity, she leans into the craft side: developing recipes, curating unique drinks, and shaping the slightly rebellious, crafty energy that customers love.
Together, Guillermo and Catherine continue to carry forward Kickstand’s mission to keep things local, creative, and community-centered.
